Erkki Aukusti Laurila (born 20.08.1913) is a Finnish physicist and a member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters (1963). He graduated from the university in Helsinki (1936) and worked there (1936-40). In 1945-63 he was professor at the Finnish Polytechnic Institute. In 1958—77 he was chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission.
His research has been in the field of reactor physics, nuclear power engineering and technical physics.
