Quantum physics - an electromagnet with superconductivity

One of the most mysterious inventions of our time is the hadron collider. This machine is simply crammed with the latest quantum developments, which still surprise many scientists. It simply consists of quantum wonders. We will not list them all, but we will certainly talk about quantum magnets. If you have unlimited internet, you can find some of the information online. These magnets control charged particles, or more precisely the motion of the beams of these particles. Materials that have superconductivity are used here.

When the temperature of the environment approaches zero on the Kelvin scale, many metallic conductors lose their resistance to electric current. For each kind of metal this temperature regime is individual. In such circumstances very little energy is needed to maintain large currents in a conductor. Those who understand this physical phenomenon will at once guess that this is a wonderful opportunity to create very powerful magnetic fields. This is exactly the factor the creators of the hadron collider used. Such a machine, if it is made to rotate under such conditions, will go on rotating indefinitely. Electric currents likewise will never die away, unless this motion is forcibly stopped.

This invention opens up a wonderful possibility of using such a phenomenon for everyday purposes. For example, for transmitting electrical energy over a distance. Just imagine that when electric current is transmitted over tens of thousands of kilometres, there would be no loss of energy at all. Modern cable conductors lose at least ten per cent in transmission, which on a large scale amounts to quite large figures.

There is such a possibility, to use the energy accumulated in this way for the good of humanity. If machines could be built that would collect the natural energy. of the sun and wind into superconductors and release it as needed, the problem of the energy crisis could be solved fairly quickly. Incidentally, in China and Japan there are already trains whose motion uses this principle. Such an induced magnetic field is truly an inexhaustible source of energy, which with a competent approach can be applied in practically any field of human activity. All that remains is to remove the social obstacles that still prevent this from being done.
