Stack the books up and lean the mirror against them.
Put a sheet of paper under the edge of the mirror.
Lay your left hand in front of the sheet of paper and rest your chin on your hand, so that you can look into the mirror but cannot see the sheet you are about to write on.
Looking only into the mirror and not at the paper, write your name on it.
Look at what you have written.
RESULTS: Most of the letters, and perhaps even all of them, have come out reversed.
WHY? Because you wrote while looking into the mirror, where they looked the usual way round, but on the paper they are reversed. Most of the letters come out reversed, and only the symmetrical letters (H, O, E, B) come out right. The letters look the same in the mirror and on the paper, even though the image in the mirror is reversed.
