Yuri Alexeyevich Trutnev (born 2.11.1927) is a Soviet physicist and a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1964). He was born in Moscow. He graduated from Leningrad University (1950).
His main work was in theoretical physics. Lenin Prize (1959), Hero of Socialist Labour (1962).
