Evgeny Ivanovich Zababakhin (born 16.01.1917) was a Soviet physicist and an academician (1968; corresponding member 1958). He was born in Moscow. He graduated from the N. E. Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy (1944) and was a professor.
His main work was in the field of gas dynamics and explosion physics.
