Einstein

Einstein, (E), a unit of energy sometimes used in photochemistry. Named after A. Einstein. 1 E is the total energy of the quanta of monochromatic radiation whose number is equal to the Avogadro constant. The size of the unit varies with the wavelength of the light (the frequency of the radiation).
