Rabi method

[named after the American physicist I. I. Rabi], a resonance method of studying the magnetic moments of nuclei, atoms and molecules and intramolecular interactions in molecular and atomic beams. A resonant high-frequency magnetic field, through which the particles fly, causes a reorientation of the magnetic moments, which is detected from the change in the trajectories of the particles in an inhomogeneous magnetic field.
