At the beginning of the 21st century it is becoming clear that elementary particle physics has reached a dead end. All attempts to keep physics within the framework of the Standard Model give no encouraging results, and the Standard Model itself has long since become a brake on the development of physics. The theory of quarks, with its strong and weak interaction, contradicts all known discoveries and experiments.
The work “A hypothesis explaining the phenomena occurring in the photon and its structure.” shows, on the basis of known discoveries and experiments, that many theories are untenable.
Conclusions of the theory: all substances consist of photons. A photon consists of an electron, an antineutrino, a positron and a neutrino. An electron consists of 12026 antineutrinos, and a positron consists of 12026 neutrinos. A proton consists of 918 photons of the positron plus a neutrino. A neutron consists of 919 photons. A proton differs from a neutron in that one photon in the proton is in a split state, and the electron with the antineutrino are in orbit in the atom. The proofs of this statement are radioactive decay, the photon in a strong electric field, the photon in a strong magnetic field, and the splitting of the photon. These and other conclusions are given in the work cited above.
